Manifesto

Building startups is really hard. The founder journey is fraught with ups, downs, downs, more downs, a few ups.... it's emotionally taxing, and one of the toughest things most of us have ever done.

That's why we've always found it strange that being a startup founder is such a lonely endeavor. We spend so much time toiling away on our startup-children, that we often forget that there are thousands of other founders out there going through so many of the same trials and tribulations. There's a massive potential community of support, if we could only bring everyone together.

To help solve this, we're launching the Startup Data Project. Aiming to be a no-holds-barred, no BS, and most importantly, transparent, and open support community for startup founders.

The world as we know it is fraught with massive problems: from social unrest, to climate change, to inequality. These are the types of problems that big businesses are typically very bad at solving - but nimble startups are brilliant at. As such, we fundamentally believe that the more startups we have in the world, the better world it will be.
